Understanding Photo and Phone Privacy on Our Platform

Privacy is not a premium feature on Kasaragod Matrimony — it is built into how the platform works. Many families prefer to hide photos and phone numbers until they have reviewed a profile and exchanged interests.

When you enable photo lock, other members see a blurred placeholder until you approve their unlock request. You receive a notification and can accept or decline without awkward conversations.

Chat unlock works similarly. Even after mutual interest, some families prefer in-app messaging before sharing WhatsApp numbers. This gives you time to ask preliminary questions safely.

Phone unlock should be the last step, reserved for families who are seriously considering a match. Never feel obliged to share your number because someone asks repeatedly.

Report any profile that pressures you, uses inappropriate language, or misrepresents information. Our team reviews reports and can suspend accounts that violate community guidelines.

Review your privacy settings in the app under Settings. You can change photo lock and notification preferences at any time.
