Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General principle

Matrimony subscriptions provide immediate access to digital features (profile views, interests, chat limits, priority listing, etc.). Because benefits begin upon activation, most purchases are non-refundable once the plan is activated and used.

2. When refunds may be approved

We may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion in the following situations:

• Duplicate payment for the same plan period
• Technical failure where payment succeeded but plan was not activated within 48 hours
• Unauthorized transaction reported within 7 days with supporting evidence
• Service not delivered as described due to a verified platform error on our side

3. Non-refundable cases

Refunds are generally not provided when:

• You changed your mind after using plan features (views, interests, chats)
• Your account was suspended or terminated for terms violations
• You did not find suitable matches (we do not guarantee outcomes)
• Partial use of monthly, quarterly, or yearly plans
• Relationship Manager requests rejected after admin review (RM is by request only)

4. How to request a refund

Email support@kasaragodmatrimony.com within 7 days of payment with your registered phone number, payment date, Razorpay payment ID, and reason. We aim to respond within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay and may take 5–10 banking days to reflect.

5. Plan cancellation

Paid plans do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated at checkout. When a plan expires, your account reverts to free-tier limits. You may upgrade again at any time. Cancelling does not delete your profile data.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a bank chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account closure.
